Happy New Year! Progress on issue 4.

Happy New Year, 2013 to all! Let's hope peace and prosperity reach more people than in 2012. Thanks to all of you who have supported my efforts in "grOw". The amount of work put into these series would not be achievable without your $upport! Thank you!

On the grOw/cOmic#5, issue 4 front, I've made great progress on the issue. 12 out of the 20 pages have been fully pencil drawn. (Yes, 20... 2 more than usual!) They look great. They took a little extra work because of the extreme Poser poses and camera angles needed for this part of the story. Also, most of the backgrounds for the issue have been set-up and I have begun their rendering in my 3D program.

My website is up and down...

But it's not just mine. A LOT of websites are experiencing high-traffic causing latency. These websites are being hosted by Network Solutions, and they are monitoring and working on a fix. Hang in there. I am still around. Seems that "other country" groups are trying to bombard certain servers with denial of service traffic (my take on it).

Still here. The world goes on...

The Mayans were right. It was the stupid interpreters that were wrong.  :)  As far as the Mayans were concerned, it may have just been time to change their calenders on their walls from "Cute Catz!" to "Bodacious Mayan Mammaries".

Anyway, I am still here as well. I know it's been a long time since my last post.  Time between issues is usually slow on the blog, as I work my way through gearing up all the background planning for the next installment.  Unfortunately, this time, I was also hit with some serious "RL" graphic design work. Those who have followed me and my blog for a while may remember that this seems to happen at this time of year. Clients wrapping up projects before the year ends and they take off on vacation (or "holiday" for those non-US folk); while others start planning for projects to begin in the new year.  While this round of work is not over, it has eased some what.

However, this does not mean that work on issue 4 has not yet begun. On the contrary, quite a bit of pre-production has been accomplished. I just have not gotten to the stage to show previews yet.

Issue 4 is requiring a lot of Poser planning. There will be many dramatic camera angles and changes in sizes of ... ahem... a certain character that I need to get correct. I also had to finish planning out the layout of the issue. While the script was already written, I only had about half the issue drawn out in thumbnail form. In addition to all of this, I have been working setting up the backgrounds for rendering which takes time. But work on the meat of the visuals has started as well, as I have already pencil drawn the first 2 pages, and I am about to sit down to do more when I finish writing this blog post.

May your Holidays be filled with dreams of big boobs, giantesses, and growth sequences to your heart's content!  XD

grOw/cOmic#5, page 55 completed!

Page 55, the final page to issue 3 of grOw/cOmic#5, has been completed! I have also drawn and started to ink the cover of issue 4 (which appears at the end of the issue). In addition, I have already begun the proofreading and correcting over this past weekend. We're almost there! I hope to have a release very soon! For now, enjoy the preview, which (as usual) I had to make somewhat vague so as to not give away the ending of the chapter.

grOw/cOmic#5, page 54 completed!

Surprise!  I was making great progress on the next page, so I decided to continue working late and complete page 54, just one day after the last. It was definitely not an easy page, so the quick turn around was the result of a lot of extra work. Sorry for a slightly more vague cropping of the preview this time, but we are getting to the end of the issue, and I don't want to reveal too much. Speaking of end of issue, there is only 1 page and 1 cover to go! The cover, of course, is for issue 4, which appears as a sneak preview at the end of issue 3. We are almost there!

grOw/cOmic#5, page 53 completed!

Page 53 proved to be quite the detailed page, with multiple panels, plenty of faces and characters, lighting effects, and lots of overlapping action. Though I had originally hoped to have finished it yesterday, I was finally able to complete it early this afternoon. Only 2 more pages (and the cover to issue 4) to go! Hang in there!

Thursday, November 8, 2012

grOw/cOmic#5, page 52 complete!

This was a detailed page, and required lots of work — especially with lighting. But page 52 is another one that I am proud of. Chip, chip, chip — I am working steadily closer to the end. Only 3 pages to go!

It was a good day few days to stay inside and work. The region is still recovering from Superstorm Sandy. On top of that, we just walloped by another nor'easter that dumped 4-6 inches of snow with 30-40mph winds and below freezing temperatures — not fun for the 200,000+ households/businesses without power for 9 days straight, nor those with holes in their homes. Unless you have a fireplace, no electric means no heat. Gas lines are still long, too! And not just for cars, as people wait in hours-long lines for gas for their generators to keep warm. How bad is the shortage? Check out this site: gasbuddy.com/sandy.  Make sure the "All stations" is chosen from the po-up menu in the upper-left.  Red is a station with no gas, green with. (Or, just look at the attached screenshot)  You will see its about a 5:1 ratio.

grOw/cOmic#5, page 51 completed!

It's been a long week, but I was finally able to complete page 51. The power gods were nice to me and let me have electricity for most of the week, having lost only about 8 hours on the day Hurricane Sandy hit. 90% of the 1.1 million of the customers for the Long Island Power Authority lost power (about 25% are still without power now 6 days later) — so I count myself extremely lucky.

This page was another detailed one, with matching the drawings to the background taking some time, as well as the detail in each frame. Good page!  Only 4 more pages (and the cover to the next issue ) to go!

No updates this week... Hurricane Sandy

Hurricane Sandy came to town for a visit, and boy did she ever outstay her welcome. This was a 100-year event for this region, with huge swaths of devastation. Luckily, we are well with little damage in our very local community, but large areas were severely damaged only a few miles away. With Monday and Tuesday morning being Hurricane days, and Tuesday and Wednesday as clean-up and taking stock of the situation, and then Thursday and Friday recovering and working on "real life" work, I was unable to finish any new pages this week on grOw/cOmic#5, issue 3.  However, I did work on page 51, and was able to make great progress on this detailed page to the point of about 75% completion. Hopefully, next week, we will begin to return to a normal schedule.

grOw/cOmic#5, page 50 completed!

OK, I got so wrapped up in working on the issue, that once I finished page 50 (shown here) during the afternoon, I immediately went into working on page 51 without posting an update — duh. (On top of that, I was also wrestling with a lot of "RL" work dropped in my lap — so maybe that's what distracted me.) With this page, 14 of 19 pages for issue 3 have been completed, leaving only 5 to go!

Note: I wouldn't expect any more updates this week. Also, there may not be updates until late next week. This is due to a combination of "real life" work interfering as well as a big ol' nasty storm (a.k.a. Hurricane Sandy) heading my way. So, either I will be working, prepping for the storm (clean those gutters!), or sitting at home without an electricity. Hoping for the best in all of the above.  :)

grOw/cOmic#5, page 49 completed!

I thought that I would have had this done by Monday evening, but, alas, it was not to be. There was just a little too much work to do, and it was getting late. So, finishing it up this morning with an extra hour or so's worth of work wrapped up page 49. With 13 out of 19 pages now done, we have surpassed that two-thirds point.

Friday, October 19, 2012

grOw/cOmic#5, page 48 completed!

I thought I would finish this page yesterday and get started on the next one, but page 48 proved to be a more detail and labor-intensive one than first anticipated. However, it was worth it. This is another great page. And it's a hot one!  Just 7 more pages (and the cover to issue 4) to go!  Hang in there, as we nearly pass the two-thirds mark!

grOw/cOmic#5, page 47 completed!

Ah, another good page. I enjoyed working on page 47, and happy to be starting the next on our way to issue completion. This is now the 11th page of 19. Not counting the cover to issue 3 (seen as a sneak preview at the end of this upcoming issue), we are now about 58% through the issue, with the previous page completed (46) being the initial break past the halfway mark. To show the progress visually, I have added to this post my usual "progress map" laying out the work that has been finished, and that which still needs to be done.

grOw/cOmic#5, page 46 completed!

With page 45 having taken extra long, I knew I had to get one more page finished before the end of the week.  With minutes before the weekend, I completed page 46. Actually, this page is not quite done at the time of this writing. I had to re-render a background, and it is taking a long time to do so (so far, 4 hours to get 60% of it done). Once it finishes, then I can pop it into the page and add some shadows from the characters. Then, it will truly be done. But for now, we'll call it "good enough" for a new blog entry.  ;)  Enjoy!

Wednesday, October 10, 2012

grOw/cOmic#5, page 45 completed!

Another good page, with lots of panels, effects, and details, page 45 took a little longer than usual, but I was able to complete it by the end of the third day. This was definitely a page that Poser came in handy to make sure proportions between characters were accurate, as well as experimenting with dramatic camera angles. Enjoy the preview!

Friday, October 5, 2012

grOw/cOmic#5, page 44 completed!

Just in time for the weekend, the page 44 of grOw/comic#5 has been completed!  Boy, for a page with just 2 panels, there sure was a lot of detail to work on. But then again, that's because the larger panels demand more detail.  Whoot! This is a great page, and I am very happy how it came out. The issue is now 42% done — hopefully, I will make more great progress next week! Enjoy!

Wednesday, October 3, 2012

grOw/cOmic#5, page 43 completed!

Whew! Another day, another page! Yep, I was able to finish page 43 just one more day after posting the last preview! What helped in accomplishing this was that page 42's preview was posted before the end of the day. So, after doing so, I went back and started working on page 43 in the same day. In addition, I worked on it late (having not much else going on), and was able to take a good bite out of it. After making such great progress on it, I was able to finish it up today. With this being the 7th page of the 19 page issue, we are now passed the third-way mark. Whoot!

Tuesday, October 2, 2012

grOw/cOmic#5, page 42 completed!

Page 42 was another highly detailed page with many faces, textures, overlapping characters and other effects, but not quite as many as the last page. Thus, I was able to complete it within 2 days rather than 3.  This page is the 6th page of the issue, and nearly at the third-way mark. If this was a normal sized issue, it would be at that point; however, chapter 3 will have an extra page for a total of 19. Enjoy the preview!

Friday, September 28, 2012

grOw/cOmic#5, page 41 completed!

Whew — page 41 was sure a complicated one, with many faces, textures, overlapping of characters, background matching, etc., etc. But I was able to get it finished before the weekend! The next page might prove to be similarly complex, so it may take almost as long. We are now passed the 1/4th mark (5 pages out of 19) for the issue. Hang in there!

Tuesday, September 25, 2012

grOw/cOmic#5, page 40 completed!

Unfortunately, this seems to happen a often enough: I am cruising along on a page, and just when I begin to think I will easily finish it by the end of the day, the panels prove to be more complicated that originally thought, and the work spills over into the next day. This is exactly what happened to page 40. It's not terrible, but it's just enough to make a page into a "2-day'er" rather than a "1-day'er". Ah, well.  :)  On to page 41...

(Note: I also realized that the last few previews were the "old" size of 300px x 300px. I fixed that with this one, retruning to the "new" size of 400px x 400px.)

Thursday, September 20, 2012

grOw/cOmic#5, page 39 completed!

Just a little too much "RL" work prevented me from finishing this page within the 1-2 days I had wanted as my deadline for page 39. But, I was finally able to finish it before the third day ended.  This page did turn out to be a little more complicated than I first thought, so that may have contributed as well.  Lot's of textures, shadows, interaction with the backgrounds, and more.Enjoy the preview!  It's now on to page 40.

Monday, September 17, 2012

grOw/cOmic#5, page 38 completed!

Progressing along with only a few small slow downs, I was able to complete the 2nd page of the issue, page 38, today. I am going to do my best to keep the pace of production of this issue as steady as I can, so as to make up some of the time lost in the last 2 months. Enjoy the preview!

Thursday, September 13, 2012

grOw/cOmic#5, page 37 completed!

It's good to get back into the ink and painting stage once again.  However, it's not like there hasn't been a lot of work done on issue 3 up until this point. In fact, I can guarantee that the most pre-production work has gone into this issue more than any other issue of grOw. There was a lot more planning of panels and camera angles using Poser and Shade (the program that renders my 3D backgrounds). Getting the slowly changing size ratio between characters just right was paramount. Plus, I had to make sure a person of size "x" could fit the pose I needed.  ;D

Yes, we are getting to that point! Issue 3, titled "Intermission" will see characters getting much bigger and situations much steamier! As the sneak preview at the end of the last chapter said, the themes for issue 3 are : BE, AE, sexual situations (mF), foot play, miniGTS (<40’).

GC#3, issue 3 pencils completed! Ink and Painting to start

I finished the last 3 pages of issue 3 in pencil form. I was also able to completed the scanning of all pages of the issue and prepping them for final ink and painting. This "prepping" includes resizing, recompositing, or adjusting a drawing I didn't like how it came out. I also resized parts of drawings that I drew larger for ease, but needed them to be much smaller in the frame. I actually have a "working" copy of the entire issue, all in pencil form, including rough narrations and dialogue balloons. Now, starting tomorrow, it's off to the ink and paint stage, of which each page will allow me to post a mini-preview as work progresses!  Whoot!

Sunday, September 9, 2012

grOw/cOmic#5, issue 3 pencils nearly done!

Well, I had truly hoped (and expected) that I would have had all of the pencil drawings and scanning for issue 3 to have been done by this weekend. Unfortunately, life can take some sudden unexpected turns. In what seems to be a normally occurring phenomenon, a number of my "RL work" clients all came out of the woodwork on the same day for some last minute work after weeks (or months) of inactivity. Sometimes, I think they call each other and plan it that way. Making it even worse was the fact that I seriously strained my lower back a few days ago, making sitting at my drawing table difficult. Hell, just standing and walking is extremely difficult.

However, the "RL" projects are wrapping up, my back is (slowly) getting better, and I have completed the drawings for 16 of the 19 pages for issue 3. (Yep! There will be an extra page in issue 3!) I really want to begin the ink/paint stage this week, and I am going to make a serious effort to do so. This, of course, will begin the usual showing of page-by-page color previews. For now, here is a pencil preview from issue 3. Enjoy!

BustArtist.com redesigned!

I finally finished the redesign of my website, bustartist.com.  I am very pleased with how it came out. I went through a few variations, but decided on the one that really lets the art sing out while the website structure takes a step back. Most of the interface is dark, with black backgrounds, and subtle gray outlines. In contrast, the color art pops off the screen like portfolio pieces on black matte board.

The website took some time, as it is all hand coded by me (with a few exceptions: the fading banner on the home page, and the Contact form). I also had to create all the graphics, CSS files, and supporting files.  I am sure I will be making a few tweaks and adjustments here and there. Slowly, I will also be adding the small preview that appear here (you can see them now by the grOw/cOmic#5, issue 2 section — click the collapsible panel for "More Info" to open).

Don't worry, I've also been working on the next issue of grOw/cOmic#5. A few pages of pencil drawings have been completed, and I will continue working on this stage starting again today. With the website out of the way, and a few important "real life" commitments met, as well as the completion of a small flurry of "real life work" projects, I can now put my full effort into the next issue.

grOw/cOmic#5, work on issue 3 has begun!

I usually leave the announcement of a new issue up for about 2 weeks before posting any details of the next project. However, due to numerous reasons, I am a little later than usual this time —  a combination of "real life" work, "real life" in general, other behind-the-curtain website stuff. Do not fret, however, as work on the next issue, titled "Intermission", has begun!

While the pencil drawing has not yet started, I will be beginning this stage very soon. Work has been progressing on issue 3 since only a few days after the release of issue 2.  I have been giving tweaks to the script, as well as to the thumbnail sketches of each page. I have also taken the entire issue and layed out the panels and text in actual size. This allows me to know exactly how much room the narration and dialogue take up so that I can draw each picture properly.

In addition, I have been rendering numerous backgrounds and setting up Poser stills to use as reference so that I get the proper size/height ratio of our heroine to the other characters in the story. I also use the Poser models to test various "camera angles" for dramatic effect. The preview in this post shows a wireframe rendering of rough Poser models imported into the 3D modeling program that I use for the backgrounds.

OH!  And if you haven't checked out my DeviantArt Gallery, go there now for a 2560 x 1440 px image for a desktop wallpaper from issue 2.  (*Note: at least for me, DeviantArt has been quite flaky recently in drawing its webpages onscreen... I think they may be having server trouble.)

He wrestled with his inner turmoil while watching his sweetheart grow and expand into the shapely goddess of his dreams.

grOw/cOmic#5, Page 36 complete!

I worked a few extra hours again tonight, so that I could finish page 36, which is the last page of issue 2 of grOw/cOmic#5! A few more things have to be done before the release of the issue. First of all, I have to draw and color the cover to issue 3, which appears as a preview at the end of issue 2. I already have it planned out, so it shouldn't take too long. Then, a full proofreading of the issue — with the wonderful proofreading skills of my wife, Juliekat — and then the inevitable corrections. After that, the final PDF will be put together, and the store needs to be configured — both the eCommerce software, as well as my website. Unless there is a major delay that I need to announce, the next post here will be to announce the release of issue 2, "Big Screen Premiere!" of grOw/cOmic#5, "grOwing Appreciation"! This should be sometime between Wed., July 25 and Friday, July 27. Whoot!

Tuesday, July 17, 2012

grOw/cOmic#5, page 35 complete!!

Whew, I'm bushed. I spent an extra few hours today past my normal quitting time, finishing up page 35, the penultimate page to issue 2. Only 1 more page to go, and the cover to issue 3 (to be shown as a preview at the end of issue 2)! Unfortunately, I will be going away on a short trip on Thursday and Friday. I will get some work done tomorrow, but then I will continue on Monday. However, if all goes well, I hope to release issue 2, "Big Screen Premiere!", on or before Friday, July 27. Hang in there! We are very close!

Friday, July 13, 2012

grOw/cOmic#5, page 34 completed!

Whew! Just in time for the weekend, I was able to finish page 34 of issue 2 ("Big Screen Premiere!").  It was another detailed page that took some extra effort. However, I was able to nail down a streamlined method for making the draped cloth (which can be seen in the last few previews) — a process that took nearly an hour per panel on the first page, now takes only about 15-20 minutes.  And guess what?! Only 2 pages to go!  Enjoy the preview!

Wednesday, July 11, 2012

grOw/cOmic#5, page 33 completed!

I almost had this one done yesterday, but page 33 turned out to be more detailed than expected. This was mostly due to the use of the cloth textures, and needing to wrap them around curvy... uh, "curved"... objects.  ;)  Getting the right feel took a little extra work with the Warp and Liquify commands in Photoshop.  Now it's on to the last 3 pages and issue 3 cover! We're getting closer!

Friday, July 6, 2012

grOw/cOmic#5, page 32 completed!

Ha! Meant to do this earlier, but as I finished page 32, it was dinner time and tacos were calling me. Then, I forgot about posting this preview due to being in a taco-induced delirium. So, without further ado, here is the latest preview just before the weekend.  Only 4 pages to go!

Monday, July 2, 2012

grOw/cOmic#5, page 31 completed!

Whew — just finished page 31, and it was detailed. This is one of the reasons this took a little longer to finish. It's a good page, too! Only 5 pages to go!

Wednesday, June 27, 2012

grOw/cOmic#5, page 30 completed!

It's been a few extra days longer between this and the last update as compared to the pace of the current issue, but I was finally able to complete page 30. This represents the 2/3 mark for the issue, leaving only 6 pages to go! A combination of "real life" work, some issues with the new store, and details on this most recent page, were the reasons for this page taking longer. All-in-all, it wasn't too much more time, but in case you were wondering. Enjoy the preview!  It's on to page 31, and the last third of the issue for me!

Friday, June 22, 2012

grOw/cOmic#5, page 29 completed!

I made sure to finish up this page today so that I could get one more preview in before the weekend.  Page 29 was a great page to work on, with plenty of nice close-ups and detail.

On the website/store front, the grOw/cOmics and grOw/stOries are slowly being added to the "functional" store (www.bustartist.com).  As mentioned earlier, I will work on the website "after hours" so that I can continue to make progress on the current project — grOw/cOmic#5 issue 2.  For now, the store will be "functional" and not too "snazzy". After all the grOw products have been integrated into the store, I will then work on a new design to make to better, with more features.

Tuesday, June 19, 2012

grOw/cOmic#5, page 28 completed!

I've been cruising right along, finishing page 28 in one day! We've broken through the halfway mark, and are now speeding down the hill towards the finish. Eight more pages to go!

Monday, June 18, 2012

grOw/cOmic#5, page 27 completed!

Still chipping away at issue 2 (titled "Big Screen Premiere!") of grOw/cOmic#5 with the completion of page 27. All in all, progress is slowly getting back up to speed in this issue. We are now at the halfway mark for issue 2!  Nine more pages to go and the cover of issue 3 (to appear at the end as a sneak preview).

The newly update website store is slowly growing as well. I added more products tonight, and will continue to do so "after hours", so that I don't slow down the production of the latest grOw/cOmic.

Enjoy!

GC#5 page 26 complete! New store emerging!

I took a break from all the red tape, setting up, HTML programming, email configuration, etc., etc., etc., for the creation of my new website and eCommerce store to finish page 26, which was 80% done when my old store imploded into a black hole. Thanks for all your patience as I dealt with this disaster.

Over the next few weeks or so, I will be working concurrently on building out my new store as well as working on issue 2 of grOw/cOmic#5. As for the store, my initial goal is just to get all the grOw products up and running. Once that is done, I will put my full focus on completing issue 2. When that is done, I will return to my store and work on a nice, professional design.

For now, enjoy the newest preview!

Store coming back to life... slowly...

I believe I have found a new store option. I am working on rebuilding now. I currently have the newest products up, and will slowly add the others. Once that is done, I will also work on making it look better.  :)

Currently, the new store is at:  www.bustartist.us

I am working on getting my www.bustartist.com domain transferred to it, but am having some difficulties (which I believe will eventually be resolved).

Good news for the new store:
• Immediate access to the link to download upon purchase! No more waiting for emails and putting in download links!!
• Eventually, a nicer website, instead of the old, clunky grid store.
• Better download speeds! Larger files can be handled.

It is looking like the death of my old Hosting service is a blessing in disguise, but it's a lot of work to get this up and running again.

grOw/cOmic#5, page 25 completed!

Take a day longer than I had anticipated, I was finally able to complete page 25 this morning. Again, detail, overlapping, dramatic angles, and integration with the backgrounds took extra time to finish this page.

Ha!  As I am writing this, I see that I made a glaring mistake — an omission, to be exact. (It is not part of this preview.) I will need to go back and correct this before moving on to page 26. It shouldn't take too long, but will take a little work.

In the meantime, enjoy page 25's preview! I know some have been waiting for this one since I showed it in pencil form.

grOw/cOmic#5, page 24 completed!

Well, it took a while as compared to the last few pages, but I was finally able to finish page 24. A number of things caused the completion of this latest page to take longer, including: the Memorial Day weekend, "real life" work, some red tape with my website host, and the fact that this page is quite complicated in terms of detail, faces, overlapping of items, and background integration. The "overlapping of items" refers to instances such as (but not limited to) when the main girl has torn clothing (which may overlap other body parts), may be wearing tight clothing (in which skin may overlap), and hair. When you have these areas of overlap, it takes more time to isolate and mask these areas so that they can be colored. Plus, just the fact that there are more "area to color" takes longer as well.

grOw/cOmic#5, page 23 completed!

Whew! This last page was a detailed one, but I was finally able to complete it, and can now present the preview for page 23. The more people in a scene (especially if their faces are shown), plus the more panels on a page, can all add up to more time needed to finish. Faces require much more detail, and that detail also takes extra care to craft properly. This page had 10 bodies and 8 faces.

Enjoy the preview!  And to my U.S. readers, enjoy the Memorial Day holiday weekend!

grOw/cOmic#5, page 22, completed!

Whoot!  Another day, another page! I was able to pump out page 22 in only one day, getting a second preview to my blog in as many days. The next page won't be so quick, as it is a much more detailed page. Until then, enjoy the newest preview, which is the color version of a pencil preview shown earlier for this issue.

grOw/cOmic#5, page 21 completed!

Taking extra time due to its complexities, multiple panels, and numerous facial expressions, page 21 is now complete! This was a great page to work on, with lots of angles and close-ups of certain... ahem... fun parts! :) I think the preview says it all. Enjoy!

grOw/cOmic#5, page 20 completed!

I made really good progress today, completing the second page of the second issue — page 20. This page was an easier page, and thus, I was able to pump it out just 1 day after the last. The next page, however, may take a bit more, as it is noticeably more complicated.  Enjoy!

grOw/cOmic#5, page 19 completed!

The previews for issue 2 begin with this sneak peak of page 19 (which is the first page of issue 2). This page took a little longer than I thought it would, as I was dealing with some "real life" work, as well as getting used to the new Adobe Creative Suite CS6 upgrade that I just switched to a week ago. Enjoy! It's now on to page 20...

GC#5, issue 2 pencils complete!

The pencil drawings for issue 2 have been completed!  Titled "Big Screen Premiere!", issue 2 will be 18 pages long. I also was able to take the time to scan the pages, and make the necessary adjustments to them as well. All of this work will allow me to start on the ink and painting of them today! During the process, I had to prerender most of the backgrounds — to make sure that my drawings would align to them properly. Having done this will help speed up the completion of issue 2. Enjoy the second pencil preview for now. Color previews of each page will be showing up soon!

GC#5, issue 2 pencils two-thirds done!

For the last week or so, I have been working hard at pencil drawing issue 2 of the grOw/cOmic#5 series. Chapter 2 will be titled, "Big Screen Premiere!"
and feature: miniGTS (<20'), BE (huge), AssE, clothes ripping, sitting, sexual situations (mF).

I had hoped to be further along in terms of page count; however, looking back at how much work I had to do to get to this point, I am not disappointed. This issue so far has some of the most detailed and "background interactive" drawing so far. Between the characters  engaging with the background, or dramatic angles and "camera work", I've had to do some serious planning before hitting pencil to paper. I've also had to set-up and render the backgrounds to almost 75% of the panels before I drew anything, so that the camera angles would come out correct. This amount of background pre-rendering is more than any other grOw/cOmic I've done!

Six more pages to go, and then it will be time for ink and paint! And then, the full-color previews will begin again in my blog!  Enjoy the pencil preview for now!

grOw/cOmic#5, issue 1 RELEASED!

grOwing Appreication
Chapter 1: "Previews"
18 color pages, plus 2 cover versions, and special "Going to the Movies" Image Appendix

Part 1 of a 5-issue series.

Jack was ecstatic, as any giantess fan would be! His favorite movie, "Assault of the Fifty Foot Woman" had been remade by the huge Hollywood director, Stephan Spelburg! He HAD to see it! Upon arriving at the theater on opening night, however, he was disappointed with the turnout, as people stayed home in droves due to a freak solar flare phenomenon. Even his girlfriend Jennie, arriving dressed "in costume" for the premiere, did little to mollify his frustration over a streak of bad luck that night.

But strange forces were at work in the theater that night as Jennie soon discovered that her clothes were getting tighter... and shorter.

Category: GTS (Tall Girl <9'; Gentle), slow growth, Breast Expansion (unknown: big, huge), clothes ripping; as well as scenes of GTS (50'), growth, building destruction.

grOw/cOmic#5, issues 1 and 2 covers completed!

I finished the covers for issues 1 and 2 tonight (issue 2's cover is for a sneak preview at the end of issue 1). I also completed my proofreading and edits of the issue. I began setting up the store for the release and will continue tomorrow morning. Most likely, grOw/cOmic#5 ("grOwing Appreciation"), issue 1 (titled "Previews") will be released sometime tomorrow!  Whoot!

GC#5, Last page of issue 1 completed!

Yes! Page 18 — which is the last page of issue 1 — has just been completed! A few more items still need to be done: 1) Cover to issue 1; 2) cover to issue 2 (which will be shown at the end as a sneak preview); 3) full issue proofread and edit; 4) compiling the pages into a PDF; 5) Set-up of store.

I am hoping this will be done by early next week. I will make one last announcement once the covers have been completed. Then the announcement when I have released the issue. Stay tuned!

grOw/cOmic#5, page 17 completed!

The next to last page, page 17, is now complete. There is just one more page to go, plus the two covers. As usual, the last few previews of an issue are either more vague, or less "telling" or "juicy", as I do not want to give away the ending. True, it's not the ending of the entire story — there are 4 more issues (about 73 pages) — but, it is the ending of this chapter. Enjoy the preview!

grOw/cOmic#5, page 16 complete!

With the completion of page 16, we are down to the last 2 pages and 2 covers! One cover will be for this issue, and the other will be the sneak preview of issue 2, which I normally do. I am still deciding on what to put on the covers, as the theme of this series doesn't quite follow the other grOw/cOmics. I will have to make a new "cover style". Enjoy the preview for the "end" of this week. ;D
