grOw/cinema, Ep. VII, now 71% done (frame 64 completed)!

I made steady progress this week, though I had hoped to get a little further (say, to frame 67 or 68, which would gotten us to the 75% mark). However, a few "real life" work projects — as well as "real life" issues due to my up-coming move — got in the way. But, I was able to finished another 11 great frames of Episode VII ("Meaty-four Shower"). Hang in there — we're coming into the home stretch soon!

grOw/cinema, Ep. VII, frame 53 completed!

With the creation of frame 53 of 90, we are now well over the hump, with 59% of Episode VII of "The Ever-Expanding Universe" now complete! I was able to finished another 14 frames this week, which considering how busy I was with "real life stuff" (preparing to move), this is great progress! I am really enjoying working on this new chapter, with new characters and new settings!

There are a lot of things in play right now, but I am looking to release the issue sometime during the week of May 14th. Hang in there!

grOw/cinema, Ep. VII, frame 39 complete!

I had hoped to get a few more frames done, but I'll take the results achieved this week. Late this evening, I finished frame 39 of 90 of Episode VII.  That puts us at the 43% mark. I am very pleased on how the recent frames came out. Two new backgrounds had to be introduced to the series, and their creation took some of the time away from working on the art itself. Hang in there! We are chugging along at decent pace and we will be passing the halfway mark next week!

grOw/cinema, Episode VII, frame 26 done!

This week I was not able to get as many frames completed as I had hoped. However, I was able to finish 7 solid frames, some of which had multiple characters in them (which takes longer due to all the added details). You can blame a combination of the above, the preparation for my move (house got listed this week, which takes a LOT of work to get ready for), and some "real life" work. But now that the above has been done, I am hoping to have more time to focus on this issue starting next week. We are at about 29% done!
