grOw/cinema, Ep.II, frame 73 complete, new pen arrives!

The new Wacom pen arrived late Wednesday of this week, allowing me to get back to work on grOw/cinema, Episode II.  Because of the delay, I didn't finish as many frames as I had hoped, but the days without a working pen for my Cintiq didn't go wasted.

I planned out a number of camera angles for the final frames of this issue, and rendered some of the backgrounds, so that I would be that much more ahead. I didn't need the Cintiq for this, so it didn't matter if I didn't have a working pen.

I also made a great progress on another project that I have been thinking about for a while: reworking my website. It currently is fairly outdated as it is not mobile compatible and responsive.

Over the last 3 months, I had been learning WordPress, and even built a WordPress site for someone. With that knowledge, I started on the redesign of the Bustartist.com website. It will be completely responsive to any device, and will make future updates much easier, once it becomes reworked using a CMS like WordPress. I really like how it's coming along so far, but there is still much to do. It won't be done before the next release (especially since, now that the new pen is here, I want to focus solely on completing Episode II).  While I work on Episode III, however, I will spend maybe 1 day a week working on the new website, while concurrently working on the next episode during the other 4 days.

YES, my website still there. Some DNS/server issues.

If you arrive at my website (www.bustartist.com) and find that your browser "cannot find the server", rest assured that my website is STILL there.  Try again in 15-20 minutes, and keep checking periodically if that doesn't work.  Network Solutions seems to be having troubles with their DNS and/or servers and occasionally do not display my website. I am looking into this.

Updates on the next project

I have been seriously chipping away on working on the next release, grOw/stOry#16. This will be a complete reworking of the first EL Pub story, "The Blooming of Bonnie" and has been written by yours truly. I am about 99% done, but need to go over it with a fine tooth comb and make a few adjustments. However, for now, I am taking a break from the writing and diving into the illustrations. I will be creating 20-22 images for this release. The new stOry turned out to be longer than I had originally planned, and thus, needed more images than normal. The stOry turned out to be over 35,000 words — another huge tale following "Succubus". I think the new stOry turned out great, taking a very loose interpretation of the original and really fleshing out (so to speak) a few choice settings and concepts. Writing it was almost like a catharsis for me, delving into a deep back story for the main character that becomes a driving force for the BE in the narrative. The title remains the same, as I think it was perfect for the new concept I had in mind for this one. For purists, it is completely focused on BE, and nothing else.

I already have the images planned out in thumbnail roughs, and starting setting up both the rendered backgrounds as well as the Poser images for reference. I can't wait to start the actual drawing of these illustrations soon.

That said, I will be away for about a little more than a week, returning home January 26th.  If you have a store issue, you can still contact me using the Contact Form on my website, but there may be a longer delay than usual. I will be checking messages on the go with my phone.

Website slow... Network Solutions DNS issues

*EDIT:  This has been fixed by Network Solutions by this evening, 9pm, EST.

I'm still around. Should my website (bustartist.com) be slow or unresponsive, please know this is due to my Host (big guy Network Solutions) seems to be having DNS issues.  Once connected, you should have no issues.

If you are just dying to order something, email me and I will send you a direct link to the grOw issue(s) you are looking for. The store is run by a different site and still up and running.

In the meantime, back to working on the next release!  Whoot!

grOw/cOmic#5, page 86 completed!

With the completion of page 86, we've hit the halfway mark for issue 5!  11 pages down, 11 to go!  While there are 4 more pages than usual in this issue, I won't have to make a cover for the next issue (that is usually shown in the back as a sneak preview) since this is the final chapter of this series. Enjoy the preview!

Also... from Friday July 12, 10:00pm EST until about Saturday, July 13, 5:00am EST ( July 13, 2:00am–9:00am GMT), my website may be down as my host (Network Solutions) does some major server maintenance. If you are looking for some Friday night fun tonight by making a purchase, better do it soon!

My website is up and down...

But it's not just mine. A LOT of websites are experiencing high-traffic causing latency. These websites are being hosted by Network Solutions, and they are monitoring and working on a fix. Hang in there. I am still around. Seems that "other country" groups are trying to bombard certain servers with denial of service traffic (my take on it).

BustArtist.com redesigned!

I finally finished the redesign of my website, bustartist.com.  I am very pleased with how it came out. I went through a few variations, but decided on the one that really lets the art sing out while the website structure takes a step back. Most of the interface is dark, with black backgrounds, and subtle gray outlines. In contrast, the color art pops off the screen like portfolio pieces on black matte board.

The website took some time, as it is all hand coded by me (with a few exceptions: the fading banner on the home page, and the Contact form). I also had to create all the graphics, CSS files, and supporting files.  I am sure I will be making a few tweaks and adjustments here and there. Slowly, I will also be adding the small preview that appear here (you can see them now by the grOw/cOmic#5, issue 2 section — click the collapsible panel for "More Info" to open).

Don't worry, I've also been working on the next issue of grOw/cOmic#5. A few pages of pencil drawings have been completed, and I will continue working on this stage starting again today. With the website out of the way, and a few important "real life" commitments met, as well as the completion of a small flurry of "real life work" projects, I can now put my full effort into the next issue.

grOw/cOmic#5, page 29 completed!

I made sure to finish up this page today so that I could get one more preview in before the weekend.  Page 29 was a great page to work on, with plenty of nice close-ups and detail.

On the website/store front, the grOw/cOmics and grOw/stOries are slowly being added to the "functional" store (www.bustartist.com).  As mentioned earlier, I will work on the website "after hours" so that I can continue to make progress on the current project — grOw/cOmic#5 issue 2.  For now, the store will be "functional" and not too "snazzy". After all the grOw products have been integrated into the store, I will then work on a new design to make to better, with more features.

grOw/cOmic#5, page 27 completed!

Still chipping away at issue 2 (titled "Big Screen Premiere!") of grOw/cOmic#5 with the completion of page 27. All in all, progress is slowly getting back up to speed in this issue. We are now at the halfway mark for issue 2!  Nine more pages to go and the cover of issue 3 (to appear at the end as a sneak preview).

The newly update website store is slowly growing as well. I added more products tonight, and will continue to do so "after hours", so that I don't slow down the production of the latest grOw/cOmic.

Enjoy!

GC#5 page 26 complete! New store emerging!

I took a break from all the red tape, setting up, HTML programming, email configuration, etc., etc., etc., for the creation of my new website and eCommerce store to finish page 26, which was 80% done when my old store imploded into a black hole. Thanks for all your patience as I dealt with this disaster.

Over the next few weeks or so, I will be working concurrently on building out my new store as well as working on issue 2 of grOw/cOmic#5. As for the store, my initial goal is just to get all the grOw products up and running. Once that is done, I will put my full focus on completing issue 2. When that is done, I will return to my store and work on a nice, professional design.

For now, enjoy the newest preview!

Store coming back to life... slowly...

I believe I have found a new store option. I am working on rebuilding now. I currently have the newest products up, and will slowly add the others. Once that is done, I will also work on making it look better.  :)

Currently, the new store is at:  www.bustartist.us

I am working on getting my www.bustartist.com domain transferred to it, but am having some difficulties (which I believe will eventually be resolved).

Good news for the new store:
• Immediate access to the link to download upon purchase! No more waiting for emails and putting in download links!!
• Eventually, a nicer website, instead of the old, clunky grid store.
• Better download speeds! Larger files can be handled.

It is looking like the death of my old Hosting service is a blessing in disguise, but it's a lot of work to get this up and running again.

Website is back UP !

Whoot!  In a surprise turn of events, my email and website store are BACK UP!  This whole thing has given me a sour taste in my mouth for this service, and I am going to continue to look for a new method of hosting and eCommerce. But for now, grOw can be purchased as usual at www.bustartist.com !

bustartist.com Major Crash

Edited for content...

A few days ago, I made a simple post that said my website was down, and that IT was looking into it. I thought that this would be a short-lived event. Turns out it was short!

The website is back up!

Hopefully, I will have "www.bustartist.com" back online soon with a new host, but I have to find a new store. Again, this will be a NEW store, with no connection to the old (which was provided by my Host), and thus, all accounts will have to be remade. I will have no record of your past sales or correspondence. I apologize for any inconvenience.
Email is back up! For now, work IS continuing. I will also be looking for a new website solution, however.

Wish me luck. The timing on this is very bad for me indeed.

Server/Website temporarily down

FYI --  www.bustartist.com is currently down. I have put in a request to my IT to look into this. I do not know how long this will be.  My @bustartist.com mail is also down.  I will post an update when I know everything is back up.I

I am still around!   :D

grOw/stOry#14: SororTITy Study Party

Martin and Louis were your typical womenless geeks, constantly talking about, and looking for, big boobs. One day, they happened to cross the paths of Professor Stump and his student protege (nee lover and guinea pig) who are working on a new boob growth formula. Stealing the formula, the boys plan on spiking the punch of an upcoming sorority party, and hiding in the shadows to watch the fireworks.

However, things don't go as planned as the girls start growing out of control  --  well beyond anything they expected  --  as well as turning into taller, ravenous, sex-hungry women.

This 99% rewritten version of the original E.L. Publication's "Sorority Boobfest" by Forrest Curran re-imagines the original story, adding much more depth to the characters and descriptions to the BE-growth scenes. In fact, it almost doubles the original story's word count, going from 9,985 words to over 18,300 !

This stOry features:
> the longest grOw/stOry released to-date! - more than twice as long as the average stOry!
> the original story and artwork are included in the index, you will be getting TWO FULL STORIES in one book!
> 19 newly created BustArtist illustrations which are the best quality to date - which is 6 more than average, and includes 3 full-page spreads!

NEW BONUS FEATURES:
> comes in EPUB (ebook reader such as iPhone and iPad) and MOBI (Kindle) formats as well as high-res PDF.

Category: Breast Expansion (big/huge/Wow!! - science); buttons popping & clothes ripping; height growth; PE (some), nipple expansion (some), strong sexual situations (MF, FF, FFF)

197-page PDF ebook, with 19 NEW color illustrations by BustArtist, which are the highest quality to-date! Also contains both the original story by Forrest Curran as well as the original 8 black-and-white line drawings by Vince Delay from the former E.L. Publications print version. You get 2 stories in 1 book!

This grOw/stOry can be purchased at: www.bustartist.com

Hurricane Irene

As I watch the trees sway, we await the full landfall of Hurricane Irene here on Long Island, NY. Luckily, the storm has seemed to have diminished significantly from original predictions (quite normal, as hurricanes can be quite unpredictable).

I fully expect to lose power at any time, as 1/4 of Long Island residents already have. I may not be able to respond to any emails or order problems for the next few days.  I am not ignoring you, just unable to respond.  :)

(FYI -- 2 pages of the next grOw/stOry have been completed!  I would have had 1 or 2 more, but I was preparing for Irene.)

Update, 9/1/11:  All is fine. Fared better than most in the area and NE. Just some clean-up and minor power flickers. Those were some wild winds, though!
