grOw/cOmic#5, issue 1 RELEASED!

grOwing Appreication
Chapter 1: "Previews"
18 color pages, plus 2 cover versions, and special "Going to the Movies" Image Appendix

Part 1 of a 5-issue series.

Jack was ecstatic, as any giantess fan would be! His favorite movie, "Assault of the Fifty Foot Woman" had been remade by the huge Hollywood director, Stephan Spelburg! He HAD to see it! Upon arriving at the theater on opening night, however, he was disappointed with the turnout, as people stayed home in droves due to a freak solar flare phenomenon. Even his girlfriend Jennie, arriving dressed "in costume" for the premiere, did little to mollify his frustration over a streak of bad luck that night.

But strange forces were at work in the theater that night as Jennie soon discovered that her clothes were getting tighter... and shorter.

Category: GTS (Tall Girl <9'; Gentle), slow growth, Breast Expansion (unknown: big, huge), clothes ripping; as well as scenes of GTS (50'), growth, building destruction.

Awesome stuff as always. I'll try and get in quicker next issue (-;

- n01 in particular.

Just finished reading this, and I've got to agree, it's great! Only downside it that it is the "previews" and it's left me extremely anxious to see the main feature! Roll on the next issue :)

Personally this did not do it for me. I'm not really into giantesses and more into BE. I bought this one to support BA's work, but I didn't find it as enjoyable as the others. Great art as usual, but I feel the characters are kinda bland in this one. We'll see how they evolve.

Same as Ronald. I don't find GTS stuff as appealing. Though BAs previous GTS stuff has been very good and entertaining, I'm still a little leary about buying. Based on the previews so far, I am holding off on purchasing.

That said, his growth as an artist (no pun intended) / with the tools he uses is amazing. Every new comic release, I look back at the one from two previous and find the renderings leaps and bounds improved, so I may eventually buy this one just for that. Might just wait for all issues to be bundled.

n01: Thanks! Glad you liked it!

Anon#1: The next issue is already in production, starting today. The good thing is the script is already written (will still be making a few tweaks, though), the pages planned out, and the 3D sets constructed. So, unlike the work schedule for issue 1, I can hop right into drawing, and then on to ink and paint!

The chapter title "Previews" refers to a lot of things: previews as the first part of a movie experience (since that is the setting); previews as showing things to come; previews as in hints and foreshadowing; and, of course, the opening of the chapter.

Ronald: I appreciate the support, and the honesty.

GTS is not for everyone. But then again, the same can be said of each of the growth fetishes. Your admission to not being into GTS may be part of the reason (understandably) that this did not do it for you. For this that are into it, I've gotten some great feedback so far on the other forums. :)

On that note, considering you still purchased the issue -- I thank you strongly for the support! :D

Back to my early days, I always had GTS peppered throughout my collection of artwork. So, I wanted to finally try a storyline focused on it, rather than a side "ingredient." My GTS themes tend to focus on the growth, gentle giantesses, and the sexual power of it. Plus, it's a great way to get bigger breasts and still have them mobile and see the rest of the woman's body. :D I do not go into the side of stomping, overbearance, humilation, and the rest of the "godzilla-syndrome" themes. However, I will be giving a nod to a few of them — but, hopefully, in a more real-world manner (for lack of a better term).

As a first issue with a lot to lay groundwork for, it can be a little challenging to set-up the scenario, the characters, the motivations, and, of course, the tantalizing scenes we come looking for. Sometimes, this extends into the next few chapters as the motivations, characters, and action take shape.

But I am glad you liked the artwork!

Anon#2: See above. There will be BE and AssE as well, but the focus on the storyline is GTS (gentle). Depending on your personal level of interest, I understand a holding off of purchasing. To each his own! :)

I am glad you liked the artwork of the previews (and the previous series), as well. I always try to revisit some of my techniques to see where I can improve, and even save time, to make a better issue. Plus, practice helps too, so each issue is another round of practice under my belt!

But I have already formulated in my mind the next grOw/cOmic series, and it will be a return to BE as the central theme.

Great but not the best. I bought every other growth i think this one is for the hardcore fan and it's more of a teasing to the next growth chapters. Good work indeed

Since we're all being honest, I'll be honest too: I thought it was awesome!
I'm a fan of both BE and GTS, although I've been skewing GTS as of late. This first installment was incredible, and I can't wait for more.
I can say, along with all the other commenters and purchasers, that we really appreciate the effort you put into your work. Thank you, and keep it up!

Enjoyed the story, can't wait to see more. Love the BE, surprised there's no PE - how they gonna satisfy the giants! Also enjoyed the preview at the end - your an artist and a producer!
