After a long, tiring month, I am back in the saddle again with this first update of the newest issue of "An Inconvenient Growth". This issue will be an epilogue to the main story, allowing you to check up on Julie and Tyler and what happens after the AugMentCo employees are asked to leave for a few days. The "trip" has been completed, and now it is time to enjoy the "destination" for a while. Enjoy the preview!

Still here, updates coming....

Yes, it's been an even longer while since last post. I am still here! Thanks for all the prodding messages to poke me into giving an update. Time has passed so quickly in the last month that I just realized it's been 5 weeks since the release of the last issue! Sorry about that! My head is spinning.
OK. Why no updates since? See the last post for most of it. The "real life" work continued for 2-3 weeks longer than expected. It just started slowing down this week.
So with the slow down, where are the updates for issue 5 (Epilogue) to grOw/cOmic#3 ? Well, do remember that this newly added issue was only conceived at the last minute (2-3 days before the release of the last issue). All 4 issues of grOw/cOmic#3 were written, planned, and sketched before I started posting updates for it. For issue 5, it was all in my head. So, during the last month, while I was getting bombarded from all directions, I did all of this for issue 5 (Epilogue) -- writing, planning (thumbnails sketches of each page), and pencil drawing each page.
The good news is that, today, in terms of all this work, I finished the last page of the issue! Now it's on to the inking and coloring of the pages, which I usually post near-daily updates! Yay!
More good news is that issue 5 will be 2 pages longer than previous issues, at 18 pages!
So-so news, is that, since its been so long, I was going to release the grOw/cOmic#3 Collection (issues 1-4) today, but due to technical troubles, I could not. I am in discussion with tech support now. My Host changed hands in the last 2 weeks, which isn't helping! I am hoping it will all be corrected by time I am done with issue 5.
I may have to change Hosts, which will be a huge undertaking. I am shopping around for a turn-key ecommerce site that will allow my... ahem... kind of site, as well as provide an easy digital download ecommerce solution for my store.
Hang in there! Thank you for your interest and support! This delay will hopefully be a thing of the past!

Updates?
Yes, it's been QUITE a while since my last update here at the blog. This has been due to a number of things.
1) Issue 4 release: the first week is always busy with the new release, and this was no exception. With the way my Host uploaded the file, "saving" the file became an issue for a few. This was eventually fixed, but took time and effort.
2) Cold and coughs: the moment issue 4 of grOw/cOmic #3 was released, I came down with one of those colds/coughs that just knock you out. I was "loopy" and not in good shape to do any concentrated work.
3) Furious pace is usually followed by a small break: getting issue 4 out the door in "time" was one of these efforts. I took a few days... but mostly to recover from my cold/cough.
4) "Real life" work: one of the reasons I was pushing to release issue 4 when I did was that I knew a lot of "real life" work was coming down the pike. And did it ever... more than I thought. This has kept me busy enough so that I could not update.
5) Nothing to update anyway: I had no new updates to post anyway. Yes, I announced the "Epilogue" to grOw/cOmic#3, but this was a newly-formed idea, just before releasing issue 4. Basically, it was only in my head (unlike the other issues, which were all planned, thumbnails, and sketched). Part of the lull in updates was that I have been scripting this new issue. The basic script is complete, all pages have been planned and thumbnailed (18 pages this time!! 2 extra!), and I am now beginning the full-size, pencil drawing stage. I have only done 2 pages with all of the above, but I hope to start up again by next week. Once all the pages are drawn, I will scan them in and start coloring them. This is when you will see near daily updates again. :)
6) I also had one more thing to do: a NEW BE-painting: This one is my take on a sketch done by TLink of the deviantArt gallery "Lakehylia" (Linky). You can see a larger version of this at my free and members BEA Galleries, my (finally) measily updated deviantArt Gallery (Linky), or at the Process Forum. (See below)

So you see, things HAVE been moving along. I am sorry for the lack of updates, but most of the work was behnd the scenes, or I was too swamped. Hopefully, that will change very shortly! Enjoy!

grOw/cOmic#3, issue 4 Released!
The newest issue of the grOw/cOmic series "aninconvenientgrowth" is now available after a slight technical delay. I made sure by doing a purchase myself, and all worked out fine! I will not have to resort to having the issue as 2 PDFs, and I worked with my Host to get the one 6.4 MB PDF uploaded.

aninconvenientgrowth Chapter 4: "Thank you. Please come again." 16 color pages, plus 2 covers
It was do or die now. After a short, intimate exchange, Julie’s enormous breasts started to go into another growth spurt — this one stronger than the rest. On top of that, it was now becoming apparent that the two new friends were quickly running out of room in their exitless prison.
Julie’s and Tyler’s heart rates were now quickening, not just from a deep kiss or by the pressing of warm bodies against each other, but also from the fear of being trapped and crushed. It was a dizzying mixture of desire and distress, of prurience and panic.
Anxiety peaked as their minds questioned whether they would they be able to get out of the elevator in time, because something was telling them that the growth Julie was experiencing was not going to end anytime soon.

Oh yeah, one more thing! Watch for the surprise at the end!
Technical delays (Fixed!)
Edit: the technical delays are fixed, and a work around has been agreed upon for future issues!
I am sorry to report that technical delays with my ecommerce host. There seems to be trouble uploading the file for grOw/cOmic#3, issue 4 to the store (which they say exceeds the maximum size limit, even though it is the same size as all the others). I had hoped to release the issue yesterday (Thursday).
So, please be patient, and check back here for updates. Thanks!

Page 64 done!
Sorry this last page took so long, especially with the tension building in the Comments. I was working on finishing this page, as well as "refining" the rest of the issue (proofreading and corrections). The details and lighting (once again) took some extra work as well.Another item that took a little extra time was the ending. For the last week and a half, I ran through my mind about possibly changing the ending. Why? Just a feeling I had based on some feedback in my Blog and in other forums on the internet. The problem is, some want it one way, some another. (What is the "it"? You will see! I can't reveal the ending by saying so here and now.)
In the end, I decided to keep it, just as I had envisioned it. I just like the timing, dialogue, and the imagery too much. However, I did make a change that will show up as a surprise at the end of the issue. ("How can you make a change to something you didn't change?") Ah! Now that is an interesting question which will be answered at the end of Chapter 4. And I believe the answer will placate both sides of the issue. :)
There are still a few minor changes (proofreading) to be done, as well as creating the final PDF and adjusting the store for the new issue. But if all goes well, I hope to have a release before week's end! Check back here for updates!
