GC#4, page 91 completed!

I really didn't think I would finish page 91 today, as "RL" work unexpectedly hit me hard this morning. I originally thought I would be able to post this page by lunchtime, and continue on to the last page this afternoon. Nope. After spending most of the day scrambling to make a last minute deadline for a big project, I took a few hours to finish up this page, which I started yesterday. Sorry for the vague preview, but we are getting to the end of the issue! :) Just one more page and the cover of issue 6 to go! (And I finally decided on what will appear on said cover, which I've been mulling over for the last 3 or 4 weeks!)

The Epilogue to GrOw3 is still one of my favorite issues. I'm wondering if the final episode of GrOw4 can top it in my mind.

I really should learn Illustrator. My Flash instructor swears by it, and would probably mark me for dead if she found I do sacriligious things like create logos in Photoshop.

And yes, I should conclude Beach Blanket Blueberry.

I hope it does top it. But if Lynn has her way in part 5, then I hesitate to think what happens in the final instalment - an orgy of some sort with everyone from the past issues?

I agree, you should, but when you are ready and feel like your story will be satisfying. I've enjoyed the journeys of both Beach Blanket Blueberry and every gr0w issue so far!

BA, You're funny when you moan about how the nine-to-fiver sucks up too much of your time. We all know that you really love your art and we're all grateful that you do! Because we do too! :D

Bleu_Artiste: Yes, you really should learn Illustrator! The hardest part is the Pen tool, but once you grasp that, you're set. "grOw" is inked, lettered, and flat-painted in Illustrator before I bring it into Photoshop for enhanced lighting and shadows, effects, and textures.

Gluben: It's going to be hard to keep topping the previous series, but I'll try! :)

biwi: Yeah, I guess so. :) Recently, my "RL" graphic design work has been getting more (shudder) "technical" with things like HTML, CSS, dealing with PHP and javascript... rather than the cool things like Photoshop, Illustrator, and InDesign.

mrkidmanga: The speed comes from experience and practice. Knowing where to cut corners in "raw effort" when it doesn't make a difference, how to make things better with just a little more work, and grasping the full power of the tools I use for best effect!

Anon#1, Anon#2, and beguy: Thanks! Almost there!

Potato: I hope to by this weekend! :)
