grOw/cOmic#6, page 148 completed!

Made some great progress today, finishing page 148 the day after the last page. The last page was completed mid-day, yesterday, which gave me a lot of time to work on this one. Less faces and special effects were required for this page, and thus, I was able to complete it today. 17 pages done, 6 to go!

One thing that has always impressed me about your work is that each of your characters always have distinctive vein patterns that you keep consistent throughout your works. If one pays close attention to these patterns, they can usually figure out which character is which just by looking at their veins. An odd thing to notice, but it's interesting nonetheless.

Anon: I think you are the first to notice this (or, at least, posted that they had). You are correct. I actually created a reference image that I call the "vein map", showing the pattern of each woman from left, right, and center. Occasionally, I have to "fudge" it — depending on size, angle, or close-up — adding small additions or details. But I try to be, generally, consistent. With something so "pronounced", it would be odd to find a noticeable pattern in one frame, and then a different pattern in the next.
