grOw/cOmic#6, page 88 completed!

I worked a little extra in order to complete the latest page before the Christmas holiday. With the completion of page 88, we only have 4 pages to go (plus the cover of issue 6 which is seen at the end of the issue as a sneak preview)! Between Christmas and New Years next week, I probably won't get as much done as usual — but I hope to complete at least 1 more page next week. Hang in there!

grOw/cOmic#6, page 87 completed!

I finished page 87 (page 13 of 18 in issue 4). I should have finished it this past Friday, but I had some "real life" errands needing completion as well as going to see "Star Wars: The Force Awakens". Sorry, I couldn't pass on that!  :)

There was a lot of "flesh sculpting" and shadows on this page which took a little extra time. I also had to render the background for one of the panels 3 times, since I kept getting the wrong result in terms of size (my fault). 

It's now on to the last 5 pages...

grOw/cOmic#6, page 86 completed!

Another day, another page!  After getting a good head start yesterday after finishing page 85, I was able to make great progress and completed page 86 only 1 day after. Considering the "real life" project issues I have been juggling at the same time (wrestling with Outlook email HTML signatures... boooo, MS!), I am happy I was able to finish a new page so quickly. However, I think if it wasn't for those issues, I would have been able to finish the page by the end of the day yesterday! (Yes, that would have been 2 pages completed in 1 day, one in the morning, and one in the evening.)

We are at the two-thirds mark now, with 12 pages of 18 completed!  Hang in there!

grOw/cOmic#6, page 85 completed!

Soooo close. I was almost able to complete page 85 yesterday, which would have been 1 day after the last. However, after spending an extra 2 hours longer, I realized I still had about an hour more to go. While not much, it was just getting a bit too late. So, I finished up the page this morning — page 11 of 18 in issue 5.  7 more to go!

grOw/cOmic#6, page 84 completed!

I am so happy that I was able to get at least a second page done this week (and had begun work on the third) with the completion of page 84. It's been a busy week with my "real life" graphic design work that, as per usual, has a tendency to peak a bit in December, being the end of the year and all. This, unfortunately, ate up more time than I had hoped. But things are still moving along fairly steadily.  10 pages down, 8 to go.

grOw/cOmic#6, page 83 completed!

Well, it's been a bit of a struggle, but we have made it to the halfway point of issue 4 with the completion of page 83. 9 pages down, 9 to go.

grOw/cOmic#6, page 82 completed!

Well, it took an extra day than planned, but page 82 (the 8th page of issue#5, "The Plot Revealed") has been completed. The extra time was needed for a "real life" project (they tend to pop up this time of year) as well as an extra day for me to fend off a cold. When a cold gives you that foggy-head feeling, it's not a good time to focus on drawing, details, and steady hands. So, I spent the time working on simple "production" work on the RL project instead. One more page and we will be at the half-way mark! Whoot!
