grOw/cinema, Episode III: only 5 frames to go!

Made some great progress this week — even while working on "real life work" projects as well — and completed 11 more frames this week! That brings us very close the end, with only 5 frames more to go (plus the "cover poster")!  The frames I worked on this week each took some extra time as compared to most others. Each one had a lot of "character overlapping" in each frame, as well as working on an "animated sequence" (which works great in this format when you "turn the page").

Hang in there!  We are getting very close!

Can't wait for next issue - will wear out refresh button when you're on the eve of release. Hope RL going well, and as always thanks to the proofreader.

The more there's "animated sequence", the better it is =D

Cannot. Wait. I love really big ass expansion with my BE, so I'm super stoked!

I've got to say. I don't think I've ever been this excited for a BE comic. I check everyday to see if it has been released. Not only is this my favorite comic that I've found in a very long time, but it is definitely my favorite of your works so far (and I really like your other work, as well). Definitely keep up the good work!

We're all going nuts here, is today finally the day?

Can't recall any time in recent memory that I was THIS excited for a BE comic!

Just popping in for a quick comment...

THANKS for all the excitement and appreciation for this series! No, today is not the day of release. But know that I am almost there. I am literally drawing the final frame as I write this. Then on to color. It IS a complicated frame, with lots of characters and overlapping, so it's taking time.

After that, I have to create the "cover poster" (which I still have to conceptualize). I plan on completing both of these today. Then, it's on to post-production phase (proofreading and correcting, PDF creation, website graphics creation and programming, etc). This usually takes a full day. So, I am looking to release on Friday (most likely). Thursday? Mmmmmmmmmaybe (probably not).

Hang in there! :)

I've gotta say - I'm really enjoying the throwback feel to the old comics you did.

It's like everything appealing about those, but... the special edition, haha.
