grOw/cOmic#6, issue 6 pencils over half done!

It's been a busy week, but soon after the release of issue 5, I began work on issue 6 ("Plot Twists"). This included reworking some of the script, sketching out thumbnail plans for each page, setting up backgrounds in my Shade3D program, as well as setting up some Poser-assisted models for a few panels to figure out proper proportion, vanishing point scale, camera angles, and "bodily interactions" for certain scenes that have arms and legs "akimbo."

I have completed 10 of the 18 pages in terms of pencil drawings. I have already scanned and composited them to get them ready for the ink and paint stage. (Each page takes 2 scans due to size and then must be "stitched" together.) Some of the scans, then needed some slight alterations, or "large heads put on small bodies" (if you remember my explanation on page 1 of the series).

Ha Ha!
This truncated pencil illustration makes it appear
as if the guy has two 4 foot boobs!

Actually, there is no guy in this scene. :) (The lines to mark the stomach muscles are much, much stronger here in pencil that when this is completed in the ink and pen stage.)
