grOw/cinema 1, Ep XIX, frame 15 completed!

You read that right — cinema 1. For the next release, I'll be temporarily jumping back to grOw/cinema 1, "The Ever-Expanding Universe" (Episode XIX) ! Here are 2 sneak previews so far, having completed the first 15 frames. I've always said I will probably be jumping back and forth between the 2 cinema series, since I both wanted to start a new storyline but the first series was so popular. This is that time! :-)

Welcome to Concerto by the Sea! Harmon has arrived at the island resort with Melody to begin his training for the upcoming Nyphonocturne, where Harmon will be expected to "perform" his resonance abilities on clients. Harmon is a good student, and so uncovers a new power — the ability to increase a person's height!

grOw/cinema 2, Episode 3 preliminary artwork completed!

I finished the art for the final frame of the latest issue today. Now, I say "preliminary artwork" in the title as there is still more work to be done — corrections to artwork already done (such as missing facial hair, jewelry, or other details), final rendering of the background (they are very detailed and take time, not all backgrounds have completed rendering at this time).

Then, of course, it's on to the post-production — proofreading and subsequent corrections; cover artwork; putting together the PDF; website HTML and images; programming the e-commerce end. I am HOPING to shoot for Friday, Dec 10th as the release date (1 week from today). Cross your fingers.  I am also hoping that I will have the issue completed before the website stuff so I can offer my patrons at my Patreon page an early release.

grOw/cinema 2, Ep. 3, frame 67 completed

Busy week — filled with great new frames and detail. I also added to the script and sketched out the storyboards to another 4 frames, bringing the issue up to 74. With 67 completed, we are at the 91% mark!

But also, unfortunately, one riddled with set backs as I lost a lot of rendering time due to app crashes (one 20 hour rendering, and one 12 hour rendering both lost). Some of this also slowed down the drawing of the frames.

It's been a very busy time over the last few weeks!  Working hard on my Patreon page as well as grOw/cinema 2.  I also took some time off again to see family who I haven't seen in about 3 years, partially due to the COVID. Good to see Mom again!
