grOw/cinema 2, Ep. 2, frame 20 completed.

I didn't get as many frames completed this week as I had last week. A lot of stuff was going on — some personal appointments, working on Patreon art, and spending hours scanning and diagnosis my slooooow computer. The good thing on this last point is that I think I solved it. Things are running MUCH smoother now.

grOw/cinema 2, Ep. 2, frame 15 completed

This week, I completed 13 more frames for grOw/cinema 2, Ep. 2. I made some great progress, as this week I also had worked on some Patreon art, as well as made some edits to the 3D backgrounds for this issue.

Work on grOw/cinema 2, Episode 2 has begun!

In the last few weeks, I was able to complete the initial script of the new issue, sketched out the storyboards and was able to complete the first 2 frames of the issue today. I would have been able to work on another frame or 2, but I had an appointment to get the 1st dose of my COVID vaccine today (yippee!).

grOw/cinema 2, Ep. 1, frame 66 completed! Issue 97% done!

Made pretty good progress this week, completing 10 new frames. Some real life work as well as storm prep (we had serious storm warnings going off around the state, including multiple tornado warnings), prevented me from doing even more.

I hope to have a release by next Friday, but that's going to be a little tight. Possible, but tight. A few more frames to complete, cover image, full issue creation, proofreading and corrections, website graphics and programming. Plus, I need to begin work on the Commissions starting Monday (it's my standing goal to get all Patreon awards out before the end of the month in which they were begun). Yes, I have the following week, but only 3 days, and I want to give you all time to download and view (especially, if you plan on taking your leave at the end of the month — something I hope that you don't).

We're getting really close! If I can get it out by next Friday, I will also feel so much better in getting a new issue out quicker than Episode XVIII of grOw/cinema 1 (which took 126 days! But, I'll admit, that issue was a LOT of work!). Next Friday's release would come in at 79 days.

grOw/cinema 2, Episode 1, frame 56 completed!

I was able to complete 12 more frames this week, as well as get a great head-start on a 13th. We are now at the 81% completion mark! Depending on how things go, a release will probably be around Fri., Apr 26th (but could extend to Fri. May 2). Here's hoping for smooth sailing to reach that earlier goal!

grOw/cinema 2, Ep. 1, frame 45 completed!

I was able to complete 10 frames this week, putting us at a total frame-count of 45. I also scripted the scene I had been debating on adding to the issue. With this added scene, this release will be 67 frames. So, this means that we are now at the 67% finished mark — two-thirds!

Last weekend was SizeCon[micro] (a.k.a. "online"). It was a great success and people loved it. I chatted with some fans over video; showed some oooold artwork; gave a demonstration of behind the scenes on the creation of the grOw series; and joined others on a number of panels, including one alongside my wife, Juliekat.
