grOw/cOmic#6, page 131 completed!

The last page (p.131) to issue 7 of grOw/cOmic#6 has just been completed! This one took an extra day to finish, as the level of detail was very high. Overlapping characters, many faces, lots and lots of liquid effects. In fact, the painting, shading, and effects stage of the one panel which was the "climactic scene" of the issue took all day Friday.

This is the 21st page of the issue, as this is an extra-long chapter (as compared to the normal 18 pages). All I have to do now in order to finalize the art is to create the cover to issue 8  (which appears at the end of issue 7 as a teaser).  Then, it's the final production stage, which includes proofreading and correcting, creating the PDFs (standard, premium, and premium art-only), creating the graphics that appear on the website, programming the ecommerce of the website for the new issue, and writing the blog announcements.  Hang in there!
