Episode XIV has finally been completed! I worked really hard this week to get this chapter wrapped up. I had really wanted to get a release today (Friday, Nov 15), but I just... couldn't... do it. I had to changes to make. During the review of the issue, I found too many text and art mistakes. What is an "art mistake"? Oh, something like you draw a few frames of a shirt ripping and a bra popping open, and in the subsequent frames while you still show the torn, hanging shirt, the bra has suddenly "disappeared". So, back to the drawing board to add mutliple bras to various frames.
So, when will be the release? At the latest, by early Monday., Nov 18th. At the earliest (if I feel up for it, as I still have some work to do), tomorrow., Sat. Nov 16th. We'll see....
I completed up frame 64 this week. It was a slow but steady pace. However, the frames that were done are great, and each took some extra delicate crafting and I am very pleased with the results.
I am also taking off today and possibly Monday in a rare, long weekend for me.
After completeing frame 65, I am also going to take a little time reworking the last 5-7 frames of the issue. This puts the release off a few days, but don't worry, it's coming soon! I had hoped to have a Friday, Nov 15th release, but that seems unlikely. But, if all goes well, I think a Tue-Wed., Nov 19-20 is a good bet. Hang in there!
I completed 10 new frames this week on grOw/cinema, Ep. XIV, which is great progress considering I also created a black-and-white Commission as well as a detailed BE sketch for my Patron page (cropped preview shown here along with the grOw/cinema preview). And all this work required lots of camera angle set-up and play, detailed characters overlapping, and other fine points. Frame 49 also represents the 70% mark of the current script (which may be adjusted by a page or 2 in the coming weeks).
Getting closer!
Well, we are past the halfway mark with 39 frames done. I was hoping for another 2 or so frames this week, but, alas, "real life" got in the way again. The good thing is that most of these "real life" things are now done. However, these frames are quite detailed, with 4 characters all close together, intertwined, with multi-colored clothing, all of which means more "selection areas" needed and more time required to work on the frame. So there's that.
Hang in there! We are past the hump!
I made great progress this week, finishing another 11 frames of Episode XIV with the completion of frame 25. Based on the current script, that puts us past the one-third mark! Hoping for more of the same next week, albeit I know I will be out a half-day on Tuesday, and may have a small "real life" project to complete (maye 1-2 hours).
