GC#4, page 95 completed. Delays ahead.

Finally, I was able to complete page 95, a page with enough detail to keep me busy, but also one that was fraught with delays — both with "real life work" as well as "real life". It is the later that affected progress the most and will continue to do so, for the next week, two, or more.

Unfortunately, this delay is unknown in length. My Dad is dying — he may only have 2 hours, or 2 weeks, left. We fear it will be sooner than later. Only time will tell. Edit: my Dad has passed away, and I will be traveling out of state very soon. You may not see any updates here for at least a week.

Work may continue during this time; if for no other reason, to keep me busy and my mind distracted. Or, I may not have time for any.

Once this has all run its course, the production of the last issue of grOw/cOmic#4 will continue.

    Wow. Thank you all for your comments. I hadn't expected many, and just wanted to alert everyone of delays.

    I just edited my post. I will be traveling out of state for a while as my Dad passed away a few hours after I posted the preview for page 95.

    Hey, you don't know me, but I've been a fan of your work for many years.

    My father passed away in March of this year. In many ways I'm still dealing with the grief, even when I'm going about my day-to-day life. This is the sort of thing that can shake a man to his core.

    Listen to the other posts and take all the time you need. We'll all still be here when you get back.

    THANK YOU, everyone, for the well wishes. I posted this news so that everyone would understand the possible long delay in updates, but did not expect the number of responses. They ARE appreciated. In a shocking turn of events, we found out the day of my Dad's funeral that we also nearly lost Juliekat's Mom to a serious infection! Luckily, she is now doing better and recovering. Talk about getting kicked in the nuts while being down.

    Anyway... I am revving up production once again, having taken about a day and a half to catch up on things put on hold due to my absence. I am about 1/3 of the way through the next page.

    Bad things always happen all at once to test one's personal fortitude and ability to handle it. While the losts and crisises will be VERY trying, you will come out stronger and closer to your love ones.
